Hey all! I did this detail over the weekend. It's a black '04 Mazda3. This guy is a member of the Mazda3 board that I frequent. He's a college student so his car doesn't get to see a lot of TLC since it sits outside all the time.
Process:
- Wash with NXT
- Clay with Meg's clay & DP 4-in-1 as lube
- Polish with PB's SSR line-up
- Protect with PB EX-P
- Final wipe down with Clearkote Quik Shine
Other Products Used:
- Meg's Quik Interior Detailer
- Meg's NXT Glass Cleaner
- Meg's High-Endurance
- Meg's Plast-X for headlights & taillights
- Meg's ScratchX to remove scuff marks on rear bumper cover
- 303 Aerospace Protectant
There were still some scratches, swirl marks, & water etching that I was unable to get out. Overall though, it turned out pretty good.
