Detail #1: The plan

Plan:

- rinse car with water

- Clay it up with my ClayMagic Clay bar

- Rinse with water

- Wash tires with water then spray on "Meguiar's Hot Rim's All Wheel Cleaner" on all parts of the wheel, rubber and rim.

- Use "Meguiar's Car Wash" to lather it on with my "MicroFiber Mit"

- Rinse off with water

- Dry by blotting with my "absorber".

- Wax with "Meguiar's NXT tech wax" using an electric buffer that I plan on buying tomorrow.

- Clean Windows and headlight covers with "PlastX" and "Stoner's Invisible Glass" using my ultra soft "microfiber rags

- wait like 5min then scrub the hell out of the wheels with the same cleaner.

- Go Interior and vacuum using my "rigid 5hp" shop-vac.

- Clean interior with water and "micro-fiber" walffle weave towell.

- Use "ArmorAll Gel" to wipe down interior with my "micro-fiber applicator pad", using it on everything from the turnsignal to the dash and center console.

- Spray all the seats with a little febreze.

done.

You're missing either clay or a paint cleaner and polish to go before waxing. Good options for a paint cleaner include ZAIO, KAIO, Prime, etc...These can also double as your polish if your finish is good.

I'd "clay" after you "wash the car", then rinse any "crap" left over from the "clay/clay lube" off...... but i'd definatly "wash" the "car" first, cause otherwise the "clay" is just gonna get full of all the "bigger junk" that you could get off with a "basic wash".....

Other than that it looks like your off to a good start. Once you get the hang of how it all works together, I'm sure you'll pick up on little things here and there and expand your routine, but overall i'd say you're headed in the right direction

Since everyone is piling on, just water for cleaning the interior may not be enough, depending. Might want to use some Meg's QID, or diluted Woolite or APC. I don't usually use WW's for the interior, except ocassionally on windows.

Looks like you got everything planed out perfectly the way you want it. The only thing that i would add is a polish enhancer for the NXT i believe it would make difference, other than that your good. So take lots of pictures and keep us posted.

P.S For the future look into Woolite as a APC very good stuff.

POLISH

?

WAX

- Wax with "Meguiar's NXT tech wax" using foam applicator... dont bother with buying a polisher unless it is a PC or cyclo

-Clean Windows and headlight covers with "PlastX" and "Stoner's Invisible Glass" using my ultra soft "microfiber rags

- armorall tires

INTERIOR

- Clean interior with water and "micro-fiber" walffle weave towell.

- Use Aromall original or 303 to wipe down interior with my "micro-fiber applicator pad", using it on everything from the turnsignal to the dash and center console.

- Go Interior and vacuum using my "rigid 5hp" shop-vac.

- Spray all the seats with a little febreze.

that's how I would recommend doing it
