Destroyed Chevrolet Tahoe Interior Shampoo & Detail - Scotty's Shine Shop

We had this Tahoe show up at the shop last week for an interior shampoo & detail. As indicated in the pictures it was WELL used and in desperate need of some serious help. We started off by throughly vacuuming the interior to remove as much dry dirt and debris as possible before we actually started detailing it. After we got all the loose dirt and debris removed we started by cleaning the headliner and cleaning and detailing the dashboard, steering wheel and all upper plastic and vinyl surfaces. Then the door panels were all scrubbed and cleaned thoroughly, then detailed. Once we got to that point the lower plastic/vinyl was all scrubbed and detailed and the heavily soiled leather seats were all scrubbed and detailed. Finally we tackled all the cloth upholstery and carpets which were all hand shampooed, scrubbed and extracted several times with our hot water extractors. Now we usually never apply vinyl dressing but in this case the interior was so well used it really needed it so the dashboard and all plastic/vinyl was dressed and buffed down and the leather seats treated with leather conditioner.

Epic!!!! Scotty on the forum!! Guys if you don't know.... Scott's shop won detail shop of the year, because of this kind of quality they consistently strive for. Really awesome turn around!

That was pretty nasty. Nice job cleaning it right up. What did you dress it with?

We hit it with a water based interior dressing and then buffed everything down to knock down the shine and make sure nothing felt greasy. I personally hate dressing but there was really no choice on this one, everything was too beat up.

I had another account here wayyyy back but couldn't remember my login. Trying to start posting these really nasty detail jobs around as per your suggestion Joseph. :yourrock

My word! Now, how the hell can someone allow their vehicle interior to deteriorate so far? Regardless, fantastic turnaround on it! Looking forward to your next one.

Awesome job. I find it very rewarding to preform a tranformation like that. You guys did it up right. Thanks for sharing

Great save! What is with some people? How do you spend $50K+ for a vehicle and let it get in that kind of shape?

Yet another sad example of pigs driving cars.... I know.....It's sad.....
Thanks for the awesome work to get the pigsty out and the beautiful result in !
