Der Shiney Stuff???

Has anyone used a product called Der-Shiney Stuff ???



I believe it is an acrylic based polish that someone on a truck forum recommended to other truck enthusiasts, that is suppossed to give an extreme shine with not too much elbow grease. Anybody familiar with this product?????

I actually picked up a bottle of this stuff yesterday. My local import auto store swore it was the greatest stuff so he gave me a bottle for $10.00 and if it does what he says, I can pay him the other $3.00 next time I'm in, otherwise he'll return my money. They had it on shelf with all the other products along with a photocopy of a picture of Jay Leno and some lady holding the stuff. Supposedly this is what Jay uses on his auto collection



My mini-review is that it is almost exactly like Super Glaze from The Wax Shop but it dries almost instantly. Same harsh smell. it wipes off real easily. I'll probably keep the bottle and use it on my SUV, I'm sticking to One Grand for my SC430.

Gene, I received Der Real Stuff, and Der Shiney Stuff last week. I then Dawn washed and Clayed using Mother's clay kit on my recently purchased 1997 Ford F-150 Ext. cab 4x4 long bed. After the claying I used the Real Stuff followed by the Shiney stuff. I have to admit it went on very easy and gave an awesome gloss to the paint. Also it works excellently on chrome and glass, don't think I've seen chrome come up so well. Anyway I'm very pleased, but I want to see what happens in the couple months ahead to determine if this is a good product...i.e. longevity etc.
