Does anyone have any experience with Der Real Stuff?

Der Real Stuff Storefront

Apparently they claim to be able to remove swirls chemically. I have heard of chemical products before, but I was always under the impression that they weren't good at getting rid of scratches.

I figure that this product probably hides/fills the scratches rather than remove them.

If this stuff works like it does then maybe I'll consider buying some.

What does it do? Melt the clearcoat so it is self leveling? Sorry, just can't believe that it will REMOVE swirls chemically. It may have a bunch of fillers in it to create that effect.

Do you know if they have SILICONE or ABRASIVES in it?? :rofl :yay

I think every other word they made sure to tell use that they don't use silicones or abrasives... quite comical.

Haven't heard anything about this product before and I think I can see why :gotcha:. Their "Shiney Stuff" is just a paint sealant that won't do an correction to swirls-- actually I didn't find any products on that site that'll correct swirls...

Filler is what they are doing....says that it lays a layer of plastic (filler) over the paint to protect...they also make mention of Klasse..which is a chemical cleaner...I'm sure this stuff is OK but when I see ad's like this I think of them as scams...everyone here knows what it takes to get a car shiny and its not always one step

I did notice that they have a sexy looking gal in very catory showing or attempting to use the product....STEVE!! time to get some new pics for your site...you could be loosing out here.....LOL

She used it on her high heels too :dnaughty Steve, we know that you sell S&W to the ladies :bigups

I am unable to find the amount of any of their products in ounces. Even tried putting it in the shopping cart to see if it would come up....nope. is it 8 0z? 12 oz? 16 oz? I sure can't find out on their website. Every other product tells you how much you are getting. Just for that reason I wouldn't buy it. It is a kind of an indicator of not being up front.
