Depressing..

I just got my new car and took it right away to a professional detailer. I take care of it properly.. but how come it gets scratched so easily?! It seems as if the paint is too soft! There was this time when the end of the hose MERELY touched the surface of my hood, now the steel is showing! (yes, it went beyond the clear coat, color coat, and primer). Depressing.. I have 4 or more marks all over..
 
It's a Toyota.. yeah.. after taking care of it so much, I don't even know where the other scratches came from!!

oh yeah.. it sort of looks like nail polish thats scratched while its still drying..
 
Have a pro look at it. Do you know a body man? Don't aak the dealer....they'll likely lie to you. Are you sure the scratch is clear through all the paint? That usually takes a big hit.

What color is the car?



Toyota paint is pretty soft and easily scratched, especially the dark colors.
 
I already tried repairing it.. I'll post some pics if I find another scratch again. I'm pretty sure the scratches went beyond the primer.. because now it's showing steel.. By the way, it's red.. and yeah, Toyota paint tends to be soft..
