Degreasing Paint

I have read posts where people love P21S Total Autowash and have seen it contains a degreaser in it...i am wondering the chemistry of these degreasers...what makes it safe to put on paint at full strength?



I have heard of using regular degreasers such as Meg's Super Degreaser, Orange Lightning, and Purple Power in the wash process.



What gives?
