Dedicated Rubber/Vinyl Cleaners, are they worth it?

I bought a new 2008 4Runner last December. It had been sitting on the dealers lot since April and desperately needed detailing. I have her all squared away but I just cannot get all the rubber/vinyl trim and window moldings clean.

Shampoo wont do it and I have been reluctant to try anything available locally/OTC (Anchorage Alaska).

I keep wanting to order something like Griot's Rubber Cleaner but are the dedicated brews really worth the trouble?

Thanks

Michael

Although expensive, I have found Black Wow to be the best cleaner/ protectant I've used. Well worth the effort. My second favorite- 303.

I've use Meguiars #39 rubber and vinyl cleaner. Worked very well on my friends Mustang. The rearview mirrors were white!
