hello autopians. i am interested in purchasing a decontamination kit. AutoInt and FinishKare both offer kits. which kit would be more effective? i noticed both kits are sold in bulk. does either company offer samples. or if any autopian has either kit i would be interested in purchasing a sample. thank you.

I've only used the AutoInt "ABC" system, and I'm afraid I don't have enough left to share any. I found the gallon-sizes are only good for 2-3 large vehicles. It doesn't go bad, so don't let the gallon sizes put you off if you don't find anybody to share it with.
FK makes a big deal out of the supposed risks of using the particular acid in the ABC, but I've never had a problem with it. I've heard that some people find the FK stuff a bit mild.
IMHO you could pretty much just flip a coin. FWIW I think I'm gonna stick with the ABC myself. If only because I don't like the manner in which FK bashes their competitor
and the somewhat inflated sounding claims they've posted about it. Heh heh, they sure made it sound like some kind of miracle product on one particular post (probably still here if you want to search for it), and I just don't go for that kind of stuff.
Whichever one you get, clay while the acidic product is dwelling and try to keep the acidic product off the glass and other surfaces that don't *need* that step.
