Dealing with the clearbra paint junction

I am about to polishmy car with the PC and was wondering about how to deal with the clear bra, paint junction. Do you tap this junction off to prevent collection of polish along the seam?? I did plan to polish the clear bra at low speed with the SIP at some point during the process.

I would just tape it off, maybe 1/8th of an inch over the seam.

Yup. It's much better than trying to get the polish out of that seam.

My Lotus has clear bra in numerous places. Definitely tape at the seams. You will regret it if you don't, otherwise the seams will become caked with residue, and it will make the seams much more noticeable.
