Dealer prep repair - 2007 Montego

This is a 2007 Montego owned by a client's father. He initially brought it to me for a wash, clay and seal, but a full sun inspection revealed significant dealer installed swirls. This is some of the deepest marring that I've seen induced on paint this hard - UCCL on a green wool pad wouldn't even touch it. Sorry no sun afters, it was cloudy the next day, however it did come out quite swirl-free.

Process:

Foamgun wash

Clay (it took half a bar, the contamination was *bad*)

Presta UCCL/yellow wool/1500 rpm (x2 in some areas)

P0106ff/orange foam/1500rpm

1Z MP/Cyclo/green foam (this brought out an amazing finish in person)

CG 50:50

Opti-Seal on wheels

Great work as always. Any sun shots of the after? It looks like you the weather was changing fast (it always happens down here, doesn't it?).

Paint looks super wet :D
