Hey Everyone!
Long time lurker and minimal poster, I have finally decided to introduce myself! My name is Eric, i have been detailing cars off and on for about 7 years now, and it all started when my Ex-girlfriends mom backed into my '90 cougar and her dad had buffed it out for me and i saw what true beauty lied beneath all the faded and swirled up paint. Since then I have had the detailing bug.
I have finally decided to start up a part time side business doing what I love, bringing flaw-less finishes to cars and all things that move. I will be starting this venture as soon as winter is over, and hopefully if i can get a big enough clientel base I will be pursuing this as a full time job. I have named my future business in honor of my son Declan Conrad who was born preterm on Nov. 6 and is no longer with us. I also have a beautiful 3 year old daughter and an amazing, very supportive, beautiful fiance who lets me do what I love all the time!
I so far have only done a few cars for "non-family" and it has turned out great. hopefully these pictures turn out so that you can see why I love doing what I do. Unfortunately I often forget to take before photos cause i'm so eager to get going on the detail!!
Here are a few of my more dramatic changes after a detail lol
Kawasaki Motorcycle: the tank was done using a PC 7424XP and hexlogic orange and white pads:
next is a 99 Blazer, it is pretty much just a farm truck and he just wanted it cleaned up and protected, buuuuuttttt i was really bored that day and did a correction on it
Next up is my personal vehicle, 2011 jeep compass, not a huge turn around but i just love the fact that it looks like it is glowing lol:
I have many more photos of cars that i have done, but these so far are the most dramatic changes I have done. I could not have done any of these/this with out the amazing knowledge of this forum and a select few other ones! I hope that this can lead into a promising future for me and my family!!!
Thanks again!
Eric
