Auto Detail & Restoration
This was a great day for a show. I'm having some trouble with loading so I postd a link to some of my pictures on Facebook. Out of four cars prepared 2 Best of Class 1 Award of Excellence. There were also 4 past projects 2 Best of Class and one award of Excellence. The discriptions are with the photos. The Mercedes from the movie "The Hangover" was also in attendance. Ill be adding more as I can and hope to do a write up soon. This was the best way I could share at the moment. There is also an album of on of my past restorations a 1963 1/2 Ford Galaxie lightweight built by Keith Vanhoose and myself. (he goes by twistercustomz here)

Thanks for looking.

Was that seriously a K-car at a Concours event?

What is this world coming to....

Looks like it Charlie, thank you John for sharing these photos from a great show from the Dayton area.

Thanks guys. Yes I was surprised about the K car it was perfect though. There was a yellow Italia also. Unfortunately my pics don't describe the full size and amount of vehicles. With 8 cars there I was bouncing around checking up on people past and present. I had one vehicle not able to be there due to parts.

John, this event looks very cool.

I was able to attend the Glenmoor Gathering of Significant Automobiles 2012 Concours 'Elegance. It was my first time and I was blown away by the level and quality that was presented. John, you may be interested in this one as well.

That is a great show although I wasn't able to attend the 1957 Brougham did a few years back.

Great pictures. I did not even know some of the cars existed.

One pic with a couple holding wine glasses looked it was right out of a car brochure for a luxury car.

The preview party is a nice part of the show. It's an optional private party. Where else can you go and be parked right in and around the dining area among great cars. All that plus good conversation into the night under what was a perfectly clear sky.

Last year we pulled right up to our table.

They also have an optional road tour/brunch in the earlier part of the day. It's just so much work to get the cars ready. They do give you a handicap on judging if you do participate in it.
