I promised my daughter to give her 01 Steel Blue Grand Cherokee a winter detail. The paint had medium swirling and several scratches. During the summer months I used VM & Carnuba Moose but have not touched it since.
Products used:
1Z Exclusiv-Glanz Shampoo, Blue Magic Clay Bar & S&W for lubrication, PC, 1Z Paint Polish w/yellow pad, 1Z Metallic Polish w/white pad and 1Z Glanz Wax by hand w/Viking Foam applicator.
Preparation:
1. Washed and Clayed SUV.
Polish:
1. Applied 1Z Paint Polish over hood twice with PC. Buffed with MF.
2. Applied Metallic Polish over hood and rest of the body with PC. Buffed with MF.
Wax:
1. Applied Glanz wax over entire SUV. Buffed with MF.
Impressions:
The more I use 1Z products the more I like them. The swirls are gone. The majority of scratches are also gone. In order to get rid of all scratches I would have to use Ultra Paint Polish.
Overall I am happy with the end results. My daughter is also happy with the way her Grand Cherokee turned out. Judge for yourself.
