I am looking for a good interior protectant to use on the dashboard of the Jeep. I is not leather, but has that texture. It is soft touch material and no quite rubber.

Its clean, and matte. I would like to protect it form UV and make it easy to dust and clean in the future. Any suggestions?

I have for the most part \narrowed it down to 3 product I use / rotate for my interiors.


  • Meguiars Quik Interior Detailer (Daily / weekly general cleaning)
  • Optimum Protectant Plus (For leather and leather'ish smell)
  • Ultima Interior Guard Plus / Wolfgang Cockpit Trim Sealant (Longer term sealant. UIGP is more of a matte finish and WGCTS is a slightly deep sheen)
 
I have used Einzsett 1-Z Cockpit Cleaner on my 09 Grand Cherokee for - well this is the 6th year..
It works great, dries matte or flat whatever the finish is already, has UV, and smells great for maybe a couple days..

Chemical Guys Silk Shine. It makes everything very dark and matte. It also maintains its appearance for months.
