Dash Treatment

Since I've joined here and grown out of the ArmorAll world, what cleaner/treatment do you recomend to clean and treat dashboard? I'm asking about the newer textured, dark colored ones.
Thanks

The Blackfire has a bit more sheen to it but very nice. 303 is more matte in how it finishes and seems to be my personal "go to" vinyl product, though I have both and frankly, it depends on my mood & which car I'm detailing. Both are great. You pick the flavor.

Can anyone tell me how the Sonus Cockpit Detailer Spray compares? I'm no pro, so looking at it $ for $ this is about as cheap as I see at the store.

Uigp ftw!! Its what I use on my dash for a protectant. I really like it as it doesnt change the appearance of the material.

I will give this a quick test tomorrow when I am down at PBMG and give you an update if you can wait that long?

Another amazing option in the no shine department is Ultima Interior Guard Plus | Car Leather, Vinyl, Fabric & Plastic Sealant

This is not a cheap product, by any stretch, but it's performance is legendary.

As mentioned above, 303 is a mainstay in the no-shine department, and for good reason. It works extremely well and leaves behind considerable protection.

I can wait. I've been working on the outside of the vehicles and with warmer weather coming, the insides will be the next thing.

Thanks again.

I prefer Meg's QID. It cleans and protects and leaves the natural finish in place.

I don't care for most interior dressing because I feel that they tend to attract morse dust and dirt and over time.

if looking for an all in one cleaner & protectant - megs quik interior detailer (QID)

for strictly cleaning, pretty much any APC will do

for strictly protection / dressing, my vote goes to 303 aero. Looks great, lasts a long time, and I have no hard evidence but I believe it repels dust (seems to anyway - my dash just seems to collect less dust once its protected)

I use 303ap b/c of the spf 40

I've read about issues with softening dash in hotter climates for my car so am paranoid about using a sun shade and interior products with uv protection...

Using 303 on a newer textured dash like yours made my dash terribly awful shiney . Its is a light grey even so would imagine a darker color would only be worse.Unless you like that look I wouldnt recommend it on the newer textured dash.

Not sure what to recommend because anything Ive put on my dash creates too much shine and reflection, even the ones that say low shine.

Have you tried Meguiar's Quick Interior Detailer?

No I havent but I do have it and will!:bigups Honestly I dont care for the wateriness of it or the smell but I will test it out today!

I just tried megs natural shine yesterday and it was crazy shiney!

I look forward to hearing your thoughts on it as I don't want a shiny dash.

I went thru this a few months ago - got Poorboys Natural look - very nice no reflection , just a clean matte look that stays that way...
