Danase Wet Glaze Questions

I bought a bottle of DWG six months ago, but haven't used it yet. I am planning later this fall to clean the paint and apply two coats of Blackfire Wet Diamond as my winter sealant. It occurred to me that this might be a good opportunity to try out DWG, but I have a couple of questions:



1) Assuming that I apply DWG before the BWD, will the DWG undercut the durability of the sealant? Has anyone experienced a loss of durability using DWG with a synthetic sealant?



2) What would be the optimal combo?



DWG-BWD-BWD

or

BWD-DWG-BWD

or

BWD-BWD-DWG

hey what's happening Al,

I love DWG - I challenge anyone to find a slicker product. I personally prefer to apply it using the PC and a red/blue pad. Additionally, I'd recommend applying it first, with Blackfire over. Allow a few hours between coats of course. If you plan on this being a winter combo - then you have time to play around right now. I know for me, I wouldn't care what product I plan on using: it's going to get at least 5 coats in prep for the Winter.

Thanks for the response, Marc. I can't begin to prep my Luthien for winter yet. She's still wearing that coat of Vintage I applied a few weeks ago. I think I'll enjoy the Vintage shine for at least another six weeks or so before removing it and applying my winter sealant.

Personally, I'd save it for the thaw...........go with several coats of synthetic for the long haul...........If anything, use the DWG atop.
