DAMMIT!! I inadvertently wiped out all my detailing shots from Photobucket.

I kept getting these messages from Photobucket saying I was getting close to my limit of pics on their site (I use the Pro version for more storage). To try to free up some storage, I wanted to erase an old directory of shots that I no longer reference. I deleted the wrong one, but when it asked me to be sure, I clicked "cancel" as I realized I was trying to delete the wrong directory. Even though I hit "cancel" , it deleted them anyway. I had 9 pages of Show and Shines on AG, dating back to 2007. Every single picture is now gone. I`m not a happy camper right now!

Richy,

sorry that happened. I upload to photo bucket ever since the uploading form my cell stopped working.

This way I have a copy of all my junk.

Storage is cheap these days so If I were you I would invest in a larger hard driver and store yourself. Not too sexy but it works.

Sorry to hear man!! I would be willing to bet that Photobucket has some type of restore feature that they can implement (especially for a paying customer!).

I know it`s not hosting photos, but as others have suggested - large external hard drives are fairly inexpensive these days, so you could always pick one of those up. Additionally, you could have your computer automatically back up your photos to Google+ with unlimited space for free!

Hope it works out for you!

Thanks for all the comments. I did it very late last night and was working on a car all day today. I just contacted them now, hopefully they can do something. Problem is, even if they can, I`m sure all the links that were in the forum threads have all been severed anyway. It`s probably a lost cause. As for the originals, don`t worry, I have 3 hard drives with copies of them on there. My originals are absolutely safe!
