Dads 2002 Sierra

Nice day out so I decided to get my dads truck cleaned up. Wasn't too bad, just some light-medium swirls few light scratches and sap everywhere, but the interior was a mess.



Process:

Wash

Clay with Mothers CG Claybar

Sap removal with what I had on hand at the time : Lemon nail polish remover

Megs #9 on a LC Polishing pad, 2-3 passes over trouble areas

Klasse SG over it all

Black Magic on the wheels and wells

Stoners IG on the windows



Vacuumed interior

Shampoo'd carpets

Dusted off and dressed plastics and vinyls

Cleaned out the floormats with 3:1 of Simple Green

What would have worked better on the floor mats? I wasn't able to get everything out of them..

Any suggestions for the cleaning of the mats?

AN APC or a Power Washer would work on the mats!

NICE! I like it when you can see reflections on light colors.



Do you find that your parents make any more of an effort to keep their cars in better shape after you detail them......or just trash it again?

Not really haha, but I told them not to wash it anymore and that I'll take care of em.
