First want to say a great site. Spent years using the normal over the counter stuff which isn't all that bad. Selling mother-in-law's car, '94 Intrepid that has a lot of scratches especially on rear deck. Found this site, spent several weeks reading, forked over $300 on misc. Well I have done hers, my wife's and my truck now in the last couple weekends. The results are phenomenal on what I was able to accomplish.
Anyhow, have a quick question while using DACP. The first time I used it, seemed to buff off fairly easy with a mf. I used a cutting pad with the 7336 to apply it on a 5 setting. Well on the next two vehicles, it was a bear to wipe off. Took a lot of effort. There seemed to be too much in some areas. I worked it until it became clear, but couldn't accomplish this over the area I was currently working. It seemed to change depending on the amount of pressure I was using. Is it a matter of using too much, not enough pressure, not applying evenly, or having old product on the pad. I tried washing them between uses, may not have been dried enough??? Just curious before I do it again.
FYI, I followed the traditional route, wash, clay, wash, DACP, #9, AIO, and SG. FB on trim, Stoner's on glass, and Eagle One on tires. Incredible wet shine. Thanks.
