dacp or 3m medium cut

Does anybody know which is more abrasive DACP or 3M medium cut #39001? I assume the 3M but I have never used DACP before so I don't know how abrasive it is.

Medium Cut, definitely. DACP is more like a Fine Cut that buffers down to a SMR quickly.

Do a test area ( if you have both, if not you should for future preps). Start with DACP. If surface imperfections are alleviated to your satisfaction level, proceed to finish the vehicle. If not, try medium cut ( as Bret stated MC is more abrasive ) and follow with DACP to enhance ( bring back) a higher gloss than MC is able to produce.

A lot of work, but worth it. :wavey
