If you have struggled over the years trying to polish out the fingernail scratches in the door cups ( indentations under the door handles ) I thought I'd share a method I have used for a while.
I take my Dremel and put in the sewn multi-layerd cotton cloth polishing wheel and I tape up the collet so if I hit the handle it won't scratch.
I apply a little DACP with my finger to spread it around and using the Dremel on speed #2 and moderate pressure I polish out the nail marks. Each cup takes about 2 min to do. I use #2 and moderate as with anything else you don't want to burn the paint. The Dremel will do 30,000 rpm. You will get a little lint fallout from the wheel but I usually do this at the start of a detail so its no biggie.
I applogize for the pix but the flash kind of did the wheel in.
