When Meg's D151 debuted last year, I promptly snapped up a gallon, only to be seriously disappointed with the results I was getting; not very much correction, and I was getting nasty holograms.
Well, after reading up on all the KBM I could find, I decided to give it another try using (my understanding of) the KBM.
I got fantastic results. Very good correction ability, and it finished down to a satisfying gloss with no 'grams. 151 is a seriously good one stepper. This was with a rotary and red Edge 2k wave pad. Heavy pressure to start, then gradually decreasing til just the weight of the buffer for the last three passes.
Greg Nichols said that by adding a bit of M205 to it, you can really increase the cut and speed of application.
Good stuff. And Collinite 845 looks fantastic on top of it. Yeah, yeah, I know it's supposed to be a one step, but I couldn't help it. 845 goes on and off a base coat of 151 so easily that it's worth the little extra time to put on the Collinite.
Also, since D151 is both a sealant and wax, it should be compatible with darn near any LSP you wanna top it with.
