2007 Honda Civic SI. Vehicle was coming in for a 2-Step Polishing. When I talked with the owner over the telephone he described the paint as in good shape, just fine scratches and swirls that could be seen in direct sunlight. He told me he has had it detailed before so I figured this would be in pretty good shape judging by what I heard over the phone. When the car showed up that evening, it still looked pretty good to me. Some light swirls but nothing too bad. I got it all washed and clayed, and then went to hit it with SSR2, White LC Pad via PC. Barely removed anything, I was shocked because I usually have good luck with it. I proceeded to hit it with the Orange Pad and SSR3, still didn’t really get the results that I wanted. I didn’t want to have to call the owner back and say its going to be twice as much now, so I pulled out the rotary and did a third step at no extra charge to get the paint looking like it should. (Probably because I liked the car, I would have never done that on a Soccer Mom’s van) I finished the rest of the car going SSR3 via rotary with wool, following with SSR2 and SSR1 by PC. Everything was smooth sailing after I knocked out the swirls with the rotary. I did not get 100% correction, as it was only coming for a 2-Step to begin with. I did an engine detailing but forgot to get photos of it, I also did not get very many interior pictures. In a few of the shots I had not dressed the wheel wells yet, I didn't forget, they just weren't done at that time. The owner was very happy when he picked it up, I told him I would be putting the pictures up here, so maybe we will be getting a new member!

Poorboys SSR1 White Pad via PC
LSP:
I did a coat of Poorboys EX, cure 8 hours, then topped with CAR Products Perfection Advanced Tech Wax, and Natty's Blue. I did not have the EX set for the full 12-24 because I love the look of the Perfection on Black Vehicles. It is a very durable synthetic wax that I use on my personal vehicles so I wasn’t concerned about affecting the durability by not setting EX for the full time. It was more for the deep wet look.
This was TERRIBLE. The trunk area took me over an hour in polishing to bring it to a reasonable level, I do not know what happened back here, but the rotary took all the right out.
This was a rear panel shot after I finished polishing it, right before it was getting dark and I had to bring it in the garage
Next few shots I took were when I was doing the first passes with SSR3 on the Orange LC Pad
After SSR2 and SSR1
