Any problem with breaking down " finishing " polishes due to one speed? I use the word "finishing" because I would only be using it on my personal things and that is all they really require. I wouldn't be doing anything that requires major correction. I will say that although I have not used it yet I am impressed with what appears to be nice build quality. I will be using the edge pads if that matters. Thanks in advance.

Just so you don't feel ignored.
There's not a lot of Cyclo user's posting here so You may not get an answer for a few days.
Based on what I have read, most people seem to be happy with their Cyclo and it's likely you will be as well. :bigups

Thanks Charles,

I had posted this same question on another forum and was pleased with the answers I got from users. I figured new forum for me would give me some other opinions. After having a pc for years, and then trying the udm & bosch 1250 devs I finally decided on the Cyclo but now as usual I'm wondering if it's the right tool for me. I look forward to getting some opinions. Thanks again

I'd highly recommend the Cyclo. I've had one for a "few days now", and am completely satisfied with it. It's correction abilities are far greater than that of the PC. You can almost do handstands on the thing while it's running and not get it to bog down. It works very smoothly and is very well balanced. I don't know what else I can say about it. If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask them specifically and I'll do my best to answer them.

Another one you may want to consider looking at since you seem to be willing to shell out the big bucks for a machine is the Flex machine. I've seen a good bit of talk about it over at Autopia, and if I had the change to spare, I'd consider looking at it as well.

No big bucks here. The pc was sold, and the udm & bosch were returned. From what I have read the Flex appears to be a solid tool. I think for now I'm going to stick with the Cyclo. I have it for sale on another forum for what I thought was a good price but no real interest.

I have no problems with the Cyclo in any area. From mark removal to finishing it does it all for me. The PC is all but retired now.

I really like my Cyclo, I think it has much more power the PC and almost no vibration. At first I thought I would have problem getting use to just one speed but I have had no problems. I also have the Edge pads and they work nice. The only problem that I have had with the Edge 4" pads is that the foam on the edge is very close to the plastic mounting disc and if you hit something with the edge it will mar the paint, but you just have to be careful.I have only used my Cyclo with Poorboy's products and they break down with no problems. In the next couple of weeks I am going to do a detail and try Menzerna products with the Cyclo and I will keep you updated.

Thanks, that is some good info. So far on here and other forums I have not really seen any negatives regarding the Cyclo so I'm thinking I finally made the right choice. The one thing I have seen is concerns with weight or being bulky, I think when looking at pictures it does look big & bulky, hands on with one I don't see that. It seems to be balanced well and maybe a tad heavier than a pc/udm. Please keep me posted on using the Menz product. Thanks:cheers:
