Cyclo Questions

I am looking to purchase a Cyclo to compliment my rotary and PC. It will primarily be used on my own vehicles to remove some micromarring now and then. Right now I am using Zaino but thats subject to change :bigups I like Zaino PCFusion for a SMR and will likely be using that. I also have the usual list of 3M, Meguiars SMR but probably wont try to use them under Zaino.

Where is a good place to purchase? I see several vendors have it for $219 (rightlook, topoftheline, autogeek, etc) and would probably prefer to order pads from the same vendor if possible. I see auto geek has some Cyclo pad kits shown here The rightlook's kit is Here

What pads are best to use? Propel Cyclo Lake country others?

Anyone used Zaino PC Fision and can offer feed back on results and which pads used?

Are the brushes useful? Which ones for cleaning carpet? or vinyl?

Thanks for the feedback.

Thanks for the thoughts on where to buy. Any for which pads to select? and brushes?

Depends on how much polishing you're going to do.

For brushes, I bought a cyclo kit that came with the white brushes. They are fairly stiff and work great on carpets. If your carpets/mats need a good cleaning I would get them now but if they don't need a heavy duty cleaning, you can save a lil loot and get them later on.

Pads: I have only used cyclo pads so I can't offer feedback on the other brands. I would say for your purposes,

1 pair of Yellow heavy polishing

1 pair of orange

1 -2 pairs of green

1-2 of white if you will apply LSP's with the cyclo. If not, one pair will do fine IMHO.

If you want to use the Cyclo to buff LPS (which I really like), get some extra yellow cutting pads and stretch the MF bonnets over those. They work a lot better for me than wool pads, which tend to compress and not cushion the MF bonnets very well.
