<span style="font-size:18px;">Hi everyone, decided to post up a quick write up of a a 1-step i did a while back.
<span style="font-size:18px;">I believe it was either a 79' or 80' cutlass supreme, can't remember. If anyone knows the exact year please let meus know!
<span style="font-size:18px;">Perfection was not the goal, but it was a definitely an improvement. That's for sure!
<span style="font-size:18px;">Gloss greatly increased, holograms were removed & very minimal swirls remained.
<span style="font-size:18px;">From start to finish it took about 8 hrs.
Products used:
-LA's Totally Awesome Cleaner
-CG's Diablo Wheel Gel
-UWW+
-Nano Scrub 6" Pad
-Porter Cable DA
-CG V4 Extreme AIO
-B&S Orange Pads
-CG MF Cutting pads
-Collinite 845
Exterior Process was as follows:
-Tires cleaned using LA's TAC
-Wheels cleaned using Diablo
-Car was given a waterless wash using UWW+
-Paint & glass was decontaminated via Nano Scrub Pad
-Paint was polished using B&S Orange pads & CG V4 AIO
-Glass was polished with CG MF Cutting pads & V34 to remove water spots
-IPA wipedown on all surfaces
-Paint & glass received 2 coats of Collinite 845
* Customer did not want chrome polished at this time so it also received some 845*
As you can see on the front hood, no area was spared of holograms & swirls
After a 1-Step, you'd never have known it had been in such rough shape
Thought this shot was pretty neat, showed defects very well!
Ta-daaa! Only the slightest race of swirls are left.
Couple before shots of the roof.
And the afters.
Rear deck lid was in equal condition as the rest of the car.
It also cleaned up very nicely.
Here is a during shot on the front bumper using an LED light source.
Here is the after
Couple of after shots, i apologize for the tree shadows. Client wasn't home & i was was around the area. After asking the client, he gave me the OK to take a few after pics where he last parked it.
Pictures don't do it justice, had great gloss in person!
Thanks for looking! Hope you have a great day!
