Crystal Glossed Green Lambo

Well I’ve been slacking in my posting of my work, sorry just too much going on!

This was a true treat to work on, I really learned to love the color, the metallic just glows when properly polished. This was in pretty good shape as far as things go, it was hard to see the swirls and imperfections. Putting on some high quality UV sunglasses helped a ton!

I didn’t really have time to do a full on step by step documentation of this car, but you get the idea of the final outcome.

I gave it a chemical guys CWG bath

Sonax wheel cleaner

Migliore wheel sealant

Ultima trim and tire on tires

Menzerna 203 on a black pad rotary style on heavy areas

Megs 205 black pad on lighter areas

303 on exterior black trim

DoJo Juice Lime Prime

LSP Zymol Vintage

After a proper inspection in full sun, I tagged the areas of concern and added attention, this client has a darn good eye for the imperfections and helped in the inspection!

Not wanting to do a Apolo Detailing of Canada FUBAR, I taped all my trim.....why because that is what you are suppose to do if you value your clients car!

The lighting of this shot is just crazy! My favorite by far.

YES this client has some varied and good taste in cars! I've done a write up on both the Ford GT and Bentley GT before, search my past Click and Brags to see them.

The paint just drips in crystal gloss.

Cheers,

Perfect looking as expected Greg. I'm still confused on the taping though... I thought destroying trim was a good thing ;)

Now Now.......I guess all you guys near or above the canadian boarder, must be new to the idea of taping:chuckle:

Its only slightly cheaper to tape then replace Lambo trim, so I error on the side of caution:LOLOL 4$ in tape or 1000's in replacement its a tough call for a hack.

Cheers,

GREG

Loving the car, the tape action (it really highlights the green!), superfly shots, and that is one wicked looking polish job!

What a great bunch of pictures... the car seems to rub elbows with the upper end crowd.

Sweetness is a color, and that day it was GREEN!! :bounce

like everyone else has said, great work. you might also want to edit that last picture, unless you want to disclose who your client is. (see white truck)

In this case it doesn't really matter, that truck is not the clients. But I should edit for the sake of not promoting, thanks.

Great looking car Greg, well done.

I love that color!

It was a job I really took to, the paint was workable, the color kept you hyped up, and the engine noise gave me shivers!

Beautiful work Greg. Looks dripping wet.

This car really seemed to jump in the light, in full sun it has a different look, in the dark it glows! Thanks John!

great work, i havent seen a lime green lambo with those kinds of reflections

I've seen Lambos that are wrapped in this color, and they are a matte finish, while that looks cool.......I love the glossed wet gum ball look better!

It almost doesn't look real, serious depth for sure!

Thanks kevin! While this wasn't a full on correction job, it did step up the gloss to maximum. A real rewarding job.

Beautiful work Greg...

Pat yes it turned out great, and this client is fully prepped to maintain the finish. Got him hooked up with DI water, touchless techniques, and my phone number for when it needs that extra effort.

GREG

Seriously that thing looks outstanding. Wow You really outdid yourself on that one. Grat work Greg

Thanks Barry! I think the stars aligned perfectly, this wasn't a "save" by any measure but knowing what the paint was reacting to and watching for a reaction is makes all the difference on a detail.

Cheers,

GREG
