I have a midnight blue corvette to polish and detail coming up and as I am trying to establish myself here in the area I need the car to look awesome when it leaves. I know the test spot will ultimately decide my process but tell me what you think about the plan:

Will be using the GG ROB 5.5 Uber pads

orange pad with Megs UC

green pad with Megs 205

blue pad Menz 85u

sealed with optiseal

Topped with Opt. Spray wax or CMW depending on time

Engine: Cleaned with Total Cycle wash, dressed with CD-2

Wheels- polished with never dull sealed with optiseal, Tires Megs Ulitmate Shine dressing

what year is the vett ? some have very hard clear on them and it's going to take awhile to make full correction .I assume your going to use a clay bar after you wash

and before you start to polish, if not i would get one.

05 have hard clear from the one i did last year, time spent depends on just what your plan on doing and how far or close to being perfect you want it to be.i also hope you have at least 3 pads cause one is not going to cut it for a whole car. I use at leas t3 to 4 pads per car when doing a heavy correction. Hope this help am sure others will chime in also.
