Quote " In each of those three cases, someone's probably going to be annoyed. That's enough to make the action a crime." :fear: VERY dumb.

They will probably have an idiotic law like that here in Canada very soon. It's getting impossible to walk out your door without braking some kind of law. Absolutely messed up.

Until you start using your real name to post on DC then I suggest you start being less annoying. I may have to give you the boot and report you to the authorities for breaking the law.

 That fits me to a tee.
Never ever felt I had to hide from anyone so I guess I'm in that stupid category.:)

Charles
(Yes, it is my real name)

Oh goody.... I'd be in jail for life without paroll by now if that had been in effect a year or so ago.... :rofl If for no other reason than that people can't handle themselves intelligently without instantly slinging mud these days.

I really don't want this thread to turn into some political anti-bush thread. It is pointed in that direction and it needs to stop. I can understand that some people may not be fans of this or that, but DC isn't the place to air those issues.

Besides... Politics annoy me and unless you are posting under your real name I have to put a stop to that kind of thing for your own protection. :naughty (I'm serious)

:yourrock I'm in the same category as you... it isn't exactly hard to find me. I mean, seriously now; the website linked to in my profile has my full real name, a picture of me, etc. since it's my business page. So does that sufficiently exempt me from worry about this law?

OK

Fred Farkle :)

Wow!... Some of the things that this man is doing are ridiculous. He is Invading our rights to protect our freedom. The words terrorist and terrorism have become more of a scare tactic and a way to pass these ridiculous laws. :chair:

Thats my opinion, In no way am i trying to start a political argument.

On a side note, Has anyone seen the movie demolition man with snipes and stallone?

Keep in mind that George Bush isn't the only one responsible here. He is just a part of the process. Its not like he wakes up one morning and makes a law and that's it. It did go through congress and people your states voted into office chose to make it a law. Is it a silly law? Maybe.. but it still went though the same process to become a law as the seat belt law and every other law in the country. Call your congressman if you don't like the laws they are passing.

The congressmen don't listen to me anymore; I've called them idiots too often, I think.

Hey maybe now I should watch it with sending them stuff via email; maybe they'd get annoyed :p

As long as you put your name you're good. If you want to send a 20 page rant to your congressperson (or Fuzz, if you're that daring) then all you need to do is put your full name at the top. This way you're letting the recipient know who the message is from and staying within the law.

You Americans have a strange way of looking at things. "Dumb" and "idiot" are very sophisticated ways to bring down your President. Try voting against him, or like in Canada, coming up with clever satire (I think that was outlawed in the States until Clinton--then people just couldn't help it).
And the world doesn't hate America because of petty, unenforcable laws asking ranters and spammers to show their cards. There are plenty of reasons, though "hate" is a grade 4 approach in my opinion, as if Afghans and Americans were kissing under the swing and the Americans bit the Afghans lips--"I hate you, you're stupid."
And why does your Prez get the blame for everything, unless you are Republican and there are other people to blame? Doesn't make sense to me. Here in Canada, you a probably related to an MP (member of parliament, like your congressfolk in some ways), or perhaps to the Prime Minister him/herself. That way, you have to blame yourself too, since there is a blood bond.
Anyway, all that to say that I find your political critique kind of strange. Make it more sophisticated, self-deprecating, funnier, and broader.

Does anyone remember the 50's and Mr. McCarthy?...Are you now or have you ever been a member of the communist party

Are these actions of today and the laws created for tomorrow for terrorist and terrorism reminiscent to other catch words from the past...pinko or commie...?

Do you(people) really feel protected because of laws such as these?

Honestly, I think they're the actions of today to slowly transform America's own government from a regulatory body into a terrorist regime of its own right. :nutkick
