I applied wax outside at zero degrees Celsius (32 degree Fahrenheit). This is the temperature according to the red ink type thermometer I left outside next to my car. My car’s outside temperature gauge indicated 29 degrees Fahrenheit. After finishing the detailing, I saw ice at some nooks (between front fender and front bumber, etc.).
I do no know whether I left a protective layer or whether I applied a thin ice layer and then removed that ice.
Even at this temperature, the wax I used (Nu Finish liquid – I am sorry for those who hate some of the OTC waxes -) left some white stain on black plastic bumper. I hope this is a sign that I left protection on paint.
