Couple of Good products (UK)

I have recently now been able to buy Autoglym direct and trade from the local area rep.

Good savings can be made ie - a litre of Super resin only works out at about 6 quid, less than half the retail price in the shops.

Managed to get a good sample of a product i intend to buy.

I couldnt see the need for this product but.......

You apply this after a wash and before drying. After rinsing off the water sheets of so easily and drying becomes even easier. The shine left is very nice and means ther need to QD after a wash is gone. What really impresses me is how after any product you may apply goes and comes of so much easier. I have tried megs 9, autoglym super resin and P21s wax onto off it. Its good stuff.

I have also been trying to clean up the leather in the 205. The autoglym leather care cream has ben drying very uneven. Results have been Matt, semi matt and gloss across a panel. Also it soaks into the small cracks and looks bad. Some body recommended Halford own leather conditioner, I was dubious but it is good. Dries evenly to a nice natuural finish and look.

I am very familiar with the professional (trade) and bodyshop line of products with Autoglym. Tried nearly all of their products but was a little skeptical of Autogloss Rinse and never gave it a try.

Does it really make the finish more water-repellent? I currently use Radiant Wax Polish followed by Liquid Hardwax and this does a great job. Weekly washes with Shampoo Conditioner (Pro line)for client's cars also aid in the water sheeting. Dont know if I really need it but I like experimenting with new products so I might give it a try.

How do you apply it? Mix with water and use wash mitt or mix in spray bottle and apply to car followed by rinse?

 hi all came across a great product the other day was detailing a guys soarer and the trade unit next door to him imports the Sonax range into the UK.I got chatting to the owner when he asked me to try out there wash and wax£3.76,glass polish£5.23,xtreme wax£10.16 and tyrecare£4.85.i have used zymol in the past and was happy with the results then i got involved with Mothers which i now base as the standard to beat.

the sonax wash and wax is equal to mothers if not slightly better on the wax finish left after rinsing.unfortunatly have not had the chance to see if it can be used in hot sun light without water spotting .the glass polish is good but ease of use is not as good as the mothers glass cleaner which i love to use as i hate cleaning glass:mad: the extreme wax i have used on a audi rs6 mt black a porsche turbo met grey/silver and a jag s type met light blue and today audi allroad met dark blue and audi a8 new shape grey blue met.i found the product was easy to apply and to buff off . the finish was good considering the time that was spent on the prep which was just wash the car (car trade will not spend the money or have the time to have the full process done to the car 2.5hours max) :nixweiss .the tyre spray is great for quick shine black tyre look in a rush when drying time on tyres is not a possible .i still prefer the mothers tyre duration satin finish .

i hope this is of use to you as sonax can be bought in the uk at your local vauxhall dealers and its cheap for what you are getting. :xyxthumbs

I have just brought the sonax shampoo - intend to use tommorrow.

The autogloss rinse needs dillution with water, i mixed up in a spay bottle, and give a couple of shots per panel then rines with the hose and dry. Have not seen water happens if the vehicle is not waxed after use tho.

So far i have tried autoglym , gold class, zymol blue, Dr wack A1 shampoo.

Out of the above Gold class and Zymol where my faves, at the moment its Zymol.

Will try sonax tommorrow and the Mothers when i get it off AndyC.

I like the sonax, though I don't care much for the smell of it.

I'm waiting to try the NXT wash......shouldn't be too long now
