cotton wash mits vs MF mits??

Why is that most people seem to like MF towels better than just "100% cotton" towels, but when it comes to wash mits, everyone seems to like the 100% cotton wash mits over MF wash mits? With the whole viking issue thing going on I don't really know what to get. I do have a viking wash mit from Yosteve and it has seemed to work pretty well except its been sheding some of its fibers. I really don't want to be swirling the paint (yes I do use the two bucket wash method).

MF towels are better because they are superior at removing residues, hold more residue, yet have very fine fibers that are gentle on finishes. When clean they are also very absorbent (good for QDing).



Some people don't like MF for washmits because the same "grabby" nature that makes MF great for buffing can make a MF mitt hold and grab dirt and debris, which is bad when you're trying to keep your washmit debris free.
