I use these for windows wheels etc..but they look like a really well made MF towel they have their site on the label I have seen people say they are garbage but they work really well and our pretty soft and great price at costco???

Eurow O'Reilly Corp

I have been using them for years now. I buy a new pack every few weeks. 16 dollars for 36 dollars is awsome. I use them interior exterior wheels and whatever. I have had no problem with them. They pass my cd test so there good enough for my car. I see on websites you get 2-3 towels for 10 dollars or 20 bucks gets you 10-15 towels. Ouch that's pricey. I like my 36 towels I get for 16 dollars. That's ALL I use.

Btw I have 05 g35 sedan obsidian black. Talk about soft paint! You will never find softer.

Downside a lot more than harder paint.. Swirls and fine scratches get Installed VERY easy. My gfs ford focus has hard paint. I want a paint job in the future and I am going to say use that exact paint that's on ford focus.. I have tried to put a swirl On that focus and physically can't.. I have taken paper towels across the hood. A dirty mf towel after used on all 4 wheels. I can't put one in I tried but gave up. My car those paper towels or a dirty mf will destroy it and after hours and hours of polishing it out after a wash or two they can be install right back.

i'm gonna pick up a pack at costco this week. they have a coupon in the costco coupon book for $6 off (limit 2) and it's a no brainer for the price (i need more for non-paint tasks - jams, engine, wheels, interior, etc). both viking and eurow have some quality microfiber towels that are every bit as good as ones costing much more...

I don't see why they wouldn't be good for paint tasks like I said I can't imagine paying 9.99 for 3 towels... I have been using them for years with no problems.. If they dont scratch a cd they won't scratch my clear coat.

by all means if they work on the paint with no problems, keep using them. it's just that i like to use other microfiber towels for that task...

What's the difference in other towels. Do other ones absorb more water? Maybe one day I'll order some of these expensive towels to see why everyone loves them so much.

^ softer, plusher (not always a factor), made better, and last longer through continous washings...

So about on average since these towels are quite pricey how long do they last you or how many car washes...

For me Costco is easy because even though they dont last a long time I get 36 for 16 dollars SO I can use 4 per car so even one pack would last me about 10 washes if I only used that once. I use each towel 5-7 Car washes if they dont get greasy and stained that is.

So I would say that 16 dollars for 36 towels last me a good 2 months and 20-25 car washes or longer. Then every other month I buy a new set and throw away all the old ones that are either warn down or stained from grease.

I've been using the Costco yellows for years now, on paint. They pass the CD test for me also. At the price I pay, they usually get washed 2-3 times and get moved on to lesser duties. I can't imagine paying >$3/towel and then dropping one or getting some grease on it. These things are soft enough and nearly disposable.

I will say that I recently started using the ones from Sam's based on comments here, they are a bit more plush, and come in all sorts of colors. The various colors are handy for color coding. Right now orange are my paint towels, yellow are everything else.

Am I glad to see these costco towels are good, like I said they work well and appear to be well made. I have ordered more pricey towels that the hems are undone when i recieve them not even one wash on them, plus the money I save and they get stained really quick..two thums up for costco MF towels

Just got back from costco bought 2.. 36 packs with coupon discount the total was 18.98 plus tax good deal

If they work for you, great. But those yellow devils will never touch my paint.

Because they lint and the edges of the towel will scratch. I do use them for wheels, jams and under the hood and then toss them.

If you tried Pakshak's Ultra Plush you will not go back to the yellow devils.

Do you do detailing on other cars as a proffession or is this just for your own car?
