As per usual the dealership hacked the car, rids and holograms o'plenty. Ritchie helped me with this one as well.

Awesome job!

Love that car. One of my favs(another being the Z06).

BTW, that's a Mr. Clean Auto Dry gun under your stool in the sixth pic. What do you use it for?

Every once in awhile I wash at home, and I use it so I do not have to lug the CR spotless home.

Beautiful job, fellas!! What's the hardness of the paint on the ZR1 (or other C6s) like? Is the carbon fiber CC'd?

Todd

Spectacular. Terrific work. I was hoping to do my part to help GM and order a ZR1[if I can convince the spouse], but I swear that I'd want to be there when the truck arrives at the dealer and drive it straight home, rather than let them touch it.

Looks absolutely amazing guys!!

What a sick car...

Question: Where did you get that light setup in the 6th pictue down?? Looks nice.

Jesse, there is more incoming.............. you will think I am running a Porsche dealership(lol), there is more help coming for me in the third wave of GI rescue Dave from Street Dreams(dsms) is coming next as I have worked for two weeks straight without time off(and I am VERY grateful for the work in this economy!!).

i can't beleive there is only 11 replies with 435 veiws this car looks sick and bob is really raising the standards here on autopia for perfection. i was showing a buddy this car and had to post again it looks so good!

Very nice correction!

How come the images have sunbursts, is that a special effect of sorts? I never get that, looks kinda cool.

What products did you use to do the work, a quick write up?

Cheers,

GREG

Bob - What did you do to the carbon roof & glass hood panel? (GM put out a TSB warning to not use any product that doesn't dry clear)

what did you use the wheel dollies for?

can you spin the wheels *easily* by hand while the car is lifted in place for cleaning/polishing?

are you able to move the car around in the garage on the dollies with the dolly wheels being so small? wouldnt it take great effort/force to move it with small wheels? even on smooth surface? where would you push? pull? to apply force to move the car?

sorry if it sounds like I am dogging your dollies. I am just intrigued with them, and love the idea, just curious on how effective they really are, especially on say a heavy suv?

how do you get the car up on the dollies? do you drive onto them in lowered position then raise? or are they two pieces and you put them together around the wheel and lift?

Bob - waiting to see if your next special guest is Jesse:woohoo:

Kidding aside, that is very wet looking and is a tribute to your work ethic. You definately take cars to a whole new level and then some! :buffing:
