This time got a client from my best mates. A corolla seca, one owner from year 2000.
Car is trashed, wash for 10 years with brush at the car wash which made the clear coat gone.
Reading from PTG is 30-60 microns max. The left part of the car is repainted already and easy to remove swirls. The right side and bonnet is no chance to save it, no way gonna erased that super deep scratches. Already using the S3 gold and spider pads, not too bad but only 50% better. Paint is sticky as hell, worst than subaru(especially the bonnet).
But no way I'm going to do super deep cut, so one step polish. S3 gold with purple scholl pads.
Very glossy finish, happy with the product.
Steps:
1. Wash+clay Bilt Hamber.
2. taping up
3. scholl S3+purple pads, bonnet use DAMF Meguiars M300+M301
4. Wash with dish soap to remove oil then dry then Eraser.
5. Blackfire wet diamond for LSP and FK 425QD.
6. Rubber and trim use Zaino Trim and rubber protectant
6.5 hours job in total, and customer is pleased with the job. Much better than before.
