Cool new picture of Lexus LFA Supercar

I just received an email with this hot new pic...looks like Lexus is quite serious about bringing this car to market. :)

Said to be $150K roughly and hundreds of horsepower...I think they are going after the entry Ferrari and upper end Porsches.

That's a fine looking car, and I like Lexus vehicles (especially the GS/Toyota Aristo and IS/Toyota Atenzza), but for $150K I'd be buying a Ford GT or AM DB9!

"but for $150K I'd be buying a Ford GT or AM DB9!"

DB9 sure, but the Ford GT has all sorts of quality problems. It's a lemon. See the story in Car & Driver this month. :(

Eh, I agree with what you're saying here, but you can't always go by magazine articles.

I'd still rather spend my $150k on a Lexus/Toyota than a Ford.

I like this concept. Hopefully they'll put a real manual transmission in it. I wish my SC4 came with one :(

BTW, AM=Ford. See the new Jag coupe. It screams Aston front end. Sexy looking car.

Fair enough, but I guess a person who can afford a 150K car would have so many other fine rides, he wouldn't be put off so much by "quality problems" (unlike the rest of us peasants!:doh ). If I were a millionaire, the look, performance and, uh, well "special something" of the Ford GT and the GT40's history would not be nixed by some quality issues. But that DB9 - damn!, that's a gorgeous car, though "only" a mere GT. :)

Don't get me wrong the Ford is really cool in many ways, I just would spend my money elsewhere than deal with fixing things for $150K.
