Convinving the G/F I need a Machine!

Ok, so I need some help convincing the G/F that we need to spend the money to get me a Buffer/Polisher!



I was looking at the Meguiars one, how does that compare to some of the others on the market?



I don't do anything professionally (But you guys already knew that :laugh:), so it doesn't have to be top of the line. But I would like something that's gonna last and work fairly well.

You tell her you're buying a PC if you want to be nice. Otherwise, you just go buy a PC.



Edit - by the way, that was my wife's answer.
 
Buy it and let her know. She doesn't control your spending. If she complains, just take her to dinner or something to put her at ease that you still have money to spend or something

let her know it will benefit both you and her car in the long run (it pays for itself within a detail or two). no one wants to drive a dirty, scratched up car right? there are some great kits over at AG, check it out...
 
Just buy a PC 7424 and the backing plates,pads, and polishes or whatever you want, your a grown man, you don't need to convince or ask permission from a girl to buy anything unless you are spending her money.
 
Well being that I am the girlfriend...and not just any girl... LOL this thread is quite amusing. He neither needs my permission or approval. It makes him sound wipped and me a micro manager...which is not the case in either aspect. He just needs someone to tell him which is the best and then he needs to convince me to buy it for him lol. So being that it is my money I need to know which is the best system that is affordable gets the best results so I can stop listening to him whine that he doesn't have what he needs LOL

lmao the first time i met my wife i told her i clean cars for a living. she laughed and said you work at a car wash? i knopw what she was thinking this man has no future. so later she found out i own detail shop with 9 employees and my payroll is between 3500 and 4500 a week lol. i got started with the milwalkee buffer anyone remember that heavy thing. who know what could happen when you learn how to use that machine properly you want. if that don't work for ya man. xmas will be here soon!!!
 
Yeah, I would never let any woman have that much control! I guess she puts her foot down! I do what I want! Buy it man and post your firat detail in the click and brags!!
