So before my detail today, I swang by AutoZone to pick up a carpet shampoo. Though I have Folex, I haven't been impressed by its overall shampoo effect. Based off of Scott's advice, I was keeping my eyes out for Meguiar's quick out. Unfortunately it was no where to be found. I did however come across Turtle Wax Power Out.
Turtle Wax - Power Out! Carpet & Upholstery Cleaner
I grabbed it because I knew this was the kinda of product that you scrubbed into the carpet, the shampoo concept I was looking for. I must say, I was impressed at the results. I wasn't cleaning heavily soiled carpets, just the usual smudge here spot there from daily use. Though it didn't spray on evenly that didn't matter. I scrubbed it in until the foam had nearly disappeared and then blotted it with a chillene microfiber mit followed by vacuuming with a dry vac.
The mats looked fantastic. I can't say how well these would have worked on dirtier mats, but I was impressed on how they performed today.
