Hi fellow Autopians. To show our gratitude to 2 of our hardest working members,

Accumulator & Scottwax, we are putting in place a Poll Contest to reward the 1st member to reach the 30,000 post mark. Both are pretty darn close (Accumulator 29,280 & Scottwax 29,540), but only 1 person can hit the 30,000 # 1st. To add a twist into the event, we will also be including a betting pole to keep things fun and interesting. The 1st member to hit the 30,000 post count will win $300 worth of credit @ our 3D store: 3D Car Care - Car Wash, Car Wax, Auto Detailing supplies, Car Polishers, Car Buffers & accessories store The runner up will receive $150 in credit. (credit applies to Chemicals only). Both will also receive a custom Autopia Banner with their Screen Name inscribed.

Had to throw my vote at Accumulator... he seems to be on here more often than Scott throughout the day and since he knows what is at stake as far as the contest, I bet he'll step up his game big time now.
 
He will probably beat me, just got into a bike wreck tonight (road bike) and separated my shoulder. I can type, but it isn't very comfortable.
 
In light of the fact Scottwax has had an accident on his bike and Accumulator hasn't ridden a bike in so long he's forgotten how, my money is on Accumulator.

Rest Scottwax, rest.

So, Accumulator, how's the Jag?
 
Oh man, that's going to be close. Accumulator has been posting more lately, but Scott is closer to 30,000. Scott is hurt, but that might mean he's going to be working less and posting more? Don't know. Looks like it's a win-win though for both.

Heh heh, and just think...I have *never* used anything from 3D! So much for this site being all about people who shill for the powers that be. It'd be interesting to try a few things, so yeah...good motivation to keep me posting (like I need it :chuckle: ).



BUT...



I'll be offline next week from Tuesday through Sunday as I have to go do my biennial driving retraining/recertification. Simply awful timing, but it can't be helped. Sheesh, I'm sorry if this makes me wet blaket :sadpace:

Funny you should ask! I haven't laid eyes on it for a few *years*, but my mechanic called me up Monday and said he might have it ready this summer (I think he wants that corner of his shop back).

If in fact you are going to be in a P71, I've seen the laptops mounted in them with internet access :eyebrows:
 
You know it just occurred to me... what's the service interval for a finger rotation? I'm thinking 30,000 sounds like a nice round number.

NO. I'm not LEO or military/etc. (and I like to be very clear about that).



I do, however, take stuff like my driving *VERY* seriously and I acquit myself quite well in the world of, uhm....serious professionals.

I somehow fear that I "pontificate" (thinking of the negative connotation) a bit more than Scott does :o He probably posts more, uhm..."opinion neutral" stuff than I do, and he sure details a zillion times more vehicles than I do!
