I like the CPs but I'm a fan of the flat ones though. PFW was my favorite when I had a 3401, they cut well, finish nice and don't yank you around like foam has a tendency to. YMMV.

I tried the LC CCS pads and then went back to flat pads. I dont really need a pad to hold extra product for me in those little divots for me to release it when I need it. I already know when I need more product.
Some people love the CCS, me - nah, dont need them. You may try them and absolutely love them. Everyone has a different technique, expectations, etc..
Guess that is why they sell so many configurations of pads.

I do think it is very interesting to see the Industry begin with flat wool and wool blend pads, eventually evolve into flat foam pads, then get all kinds of variations of pads CCS, etc ., there are a bunch more made by L/C alone), then go big time into flat pads with Hydro-Tech foam, then get into small to large sized flat microfiber pads, that are from what I read, a huge improvement, and oh, they are looking like the old wool/wool/blend pads of decades ago ! Yes, hugely improved material, but a lot like the original designs of pads in the first place, right ? :)

It's a mad, mad, world, you think ?? :)

I really like them in 4". I use them all the time for working small spaces or heavily curved surfaces like mirrors, spoilers and bumpers. I don't care for how the larger pads cut though. For that I prefer the flat pads.
