Confused: QD+, S&W, S&G???

Sorry if this is a basic question, but I've been reading this forum for a while now, as well as reading the product information found on autogeek, but I am still confused on which of these products I should purchase.

I live in California and typically use a spray and wipe type product daily to remove light dust and all that. My question really revolves around which PB product would best suit my needs.

Here's my understanding, any corrections would be helpful.

PB Spray and Wipe (S&W): Also known as Poorboys Waterless Wash. This product would be good if I wiped down my car every few days, or left it out to collect dew one night.

PB Spray and Gloss (S&G): This product would be good for daily use to remove the light road dust collected on my way to and from work (25 miles round trip). It will add some gloss to to coat as well.

PB Quick Detailer Plus (QD+): A good product to use AFTER either of the above mentioned products to enhance the depth of the gloss.

I have used QD+ in the past and was using it daily as a "spray and wipe" product to remove light road dust. Seems to work fine, but I want to make sure I'm using the right tools for the job.

Any help is appreciated!!

Thanks!:)

Thanks mcate. I guess the next question is whether or not I can just continue with QD+ only. Do I even need another product if I spray the vehicle down daily?

You can also use S&W after your trip home instead of S&G

I have 2 spray bottles for this one has S&W the other has S&W with 20 percent S&G mixed into it.

This may sound weird, but my red Mustang seems to like QD+ better, & my black one likes S&G better. I'd just experiment & see what suits your personal taste best.

Thanks guys.

I guess it all comes down to trying them out.

I'm picking up the S&W for sure, but will stick with my QD+ as a follow up for now. When that bottle is empty, I'll try out the S&G.

Very helpful. Sounds like while QD+ is ok for a daily spray, it should be preceded with S&W.

Since it worked for you if you did not get any marring then use it.
I always use S&W first but if you only have light dust the QD+ should work I have never tried it.

The way I found out what I could do with S&W was use it on increasingly dirty car till I got some marring then I knew what it's limit was you could do the same with the QD+.

I don't know any other way of finding out where the limit is.

ok ..everyone will have their own technique and what works best for them ;)

only part that I would be wary of is using Spray & Gloss as a cleaner ... it is not really strong enough to clean road grime ..light dust and finger prints yes.

QD+ does have some cleaning ability ,but I usually would use Spray and Wipe before either QD+ or S&G :D
