A question for you guys who might do concours-type underhood detailing. I plan on pulling apart my engine this winter to have some work done. While it is apart, I want to clean up various parts around the engine bay (mainly polishing the metal). Things such as the fuel rail, cruise control servo, A/C condenser, etc. I tried Poorboy's PP on the fuel rail, and it cleaned up nice, but then turned dull again within a few days. Also, how would you clean the knob that screws on top of the fuel rail (where you can check the fuel pressure)? Mine is very corrugated. I bought some Wenol polishes and used them some, but with limited success (I think, it's been awhile). I have a Dremel, which I attempted to use, but stuff just splattered everywhere and it didn't do the best job. Any thoughts, tips, help are greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
Thanks.
