Computer program/photo question

I was just wondering what program everyone uses to watermark their photos. I've looked around a little on the internet, but everything that I've come across so far is pretty expensive. Looking for something cheap and simple to use. Thanks for the help, my friends.

If you don't have the bucks for Photshop, GiMP is great alternative.
It's open source, so it's free.
You can do a lot of the neat-o tricks you see like drop shadows and coloration...not to mention doing water marks.
Just Google GiMP.

I like Paint Shop Pro - its a poor man Photoshop

(actually I PREFER it over Adobe)

The older verisions are dirt cheap online.
And if you do the torrent p2p thing...well that just costs you Time.

Yup, use The GiMP. Also very good to resize and size images - more flexible than Photoshop that way.

I love Paint Shop Pro for a lot of reasons, although the version I had didn't resize photos nicely (lost a lot of quality) and didn't compress them as well as photoshop. Now I'm hooked on CS3, but still have a lot to learn!!!
