I have never used Lexol products but I did buy them once and returned them (bad smell).
From what I have read the Lexol products were mainly available at TACK shops (Horses) for putting on saddles and such and is an outstanding product for those uses. In cars it also is good to clean with and is one of the best protectors out there but may not leave you with the finish you are looking for in an automobile (many will disagree).
I do use Z-10 and I love it. It has a great leather smell and leaves the leather feeling softer and protected but not slick, sticky or shiny. It leaves the car smelling like new leather. Stick you nose down into a pair of nice leather gloves and that's what Z-10 smells like to me.
For cleaning I use a mixture of 1 part Woolite and 6 parts water. I spray down the seat, rub it down good with a MF towel and then follow up with another MF towel damp with water only (as a rinse). Then I follow up with Z-10 and a detail sponge.
