Combo Suggestion's

I have used the AIO/UPP x3 treatment and love the shine and slickness of the combo, however, I prefer the sheeting ability of NXT. Anyone here know how to get the best of both worlds? I know how to flood rinse the surface, but NXT helps tremendously in that aspect.

It's the final rinse.Take the nozzle off the hose. This gives you a thick heavy stream of water. The gravity along with the heavy stream makes the water sheet off the car. It leaves very little water on the car.

Can you tell me what flood rinse is? its a term that I have not heard of.

Beemer, if I am not mistaken, it's when you are doing the final rinse of the vehicle and you take the hose (with no sprayer or apparatus) and use the steady stream of water to "flood" the excess water off the car from top to bottom. It gets rid of a lot of spots and allows for quicker/easier drying. You wind up with a lot less water on the car as opposed to just "spraying" it down.

overtheedge, to answer your question, maybe you could top the UPPx3 with a coat of Butter Wax. It doesn't exactly sheet, but it doesn't really have the tight beading as seen by other products. The beads are larger, and the flood method you mentioned works well for me with Butter Wax before I tried topping it with S100.

I'll have to give it a try...thanks.
