ColorX and NXT

Has anyone used NXT over ColorX? ColorX says it will restore the color, remove swirls and fine scratches and leave a polymer protection. I am assuming it being a polymer you could layer NXT over it for its benefits. This might be something interesting for single stage paint?

Hey,

Yes I have tried the NXT over the ColorX and looked great! You can use the combo on either Single Stage or Base Coat/ Clear Coat paint. The ColorX is a fairly aggressive cleaner/polish/polymer all-in-one type of product. I have found that it is between Meguiar's Cleaner Wax A-1216 and Meguiar's #66 Quick Detailer Cleaner/Wax in terms of aggressiveness.

Interesting. :up I was wondering about how strong that ColorX product was. For some reason I think I need a moderate strength cleaner wax lying around.... probably just because I don't have one! :p

I have tried it, worked really well. I find that colorX doesn't do much for swirls, but for blemishes and oxidation it is great, really easy to use.

Here is NXT over colorX, sorry no befores, but this accord sits 24/7 with no washing EVER.

Local Canadian Tire here has it.

Big fan of the ColorX was gained today, I did a black Land Rover (will post pics) today and was very impressed. It is one hell of a wax, easy on easy off!! The only down side is that it takes quite a bit to do a car compared to other waxes. Only $7 bucks at Wal-Mart and I think this is as good a product as I have seen, maybe not that durable?
