Collonite & FK 1000p

Collonite specificaly 476s double coat and 915 Margue De elegance compare to Finish Kare 1000p.



I have used Collonite 915 before but it was five to seven to years ago .



Which shed dirt best and I know that 1000p would be brighter



which QD's would work with Collonite what about Duragloss FC&s qd and Aquawax.



with 1000p would use FK 425 QD

i've used AW and OCW over collinite (845) without problems (though they are not truly QD's)...looks great. i'm sure FC&S would be perfect on top of collinite as well. from other comments on here recently, topping collinite with a "lesser" durability product actually takes away from what collinite does best: super tight beading and durability. i do not have long term experience to tell how much these traits are affected, but it may be best to just stick with a pure QD after washing to retain the "collinite effect".

paradigm thanx for the input.



The main reason using a QD is because it is a paste each time put applicator from paint to wax can get contaminted with dirt even it is washed; so I wa going to use a QD before applying another coat of wax although getting some Opt- no rinse wouyld work to and make own QD.

They are both great products,highly protective.The#915 gives a warm finish,while the FK#1000,is bright as you say,but i find it to be very good at enhancing color also.



The FK#1000,for me stays cleaner for longer,than the collinite's,i think either FK#425,or duragloss #921,will work excellent as a QD,although i prefer the duragloss #921,it has become my favourite QD,a truely excellent product.
 
1000p is a brighter and more reflective wax.

Can layer coats within 20 minutes of each coat.

3 coats makes your paint look like you put on a new clear coat

stays extremely slick for a long time

Extremely durable and lasts close to a year(I have 3 coats on my Jeep that I put on 8 months ago and is still slick and extremely shiny and still repells water and snow great.

stays cleaner longer

For a little more of a wet look just put on 3 coats of pink wax on top of 3 coats of 1000p and BLING!
