^I'm not so sure this answers anything. Anyhow, Guy, I asked this same question a little while back. The only answer from experience I got was someone who topped a previous, freshly cured layer of 845 with the PC'd 845. There wasn't a noticeable difference in appearance but removal was slightly improved. This could just be an effect of the 845 base. Maybe you could be the first to post pics.

well i've used the 845 before on my old white HONDA and it didn't put sucha gloss to it but it was long lasting and beaded water like nobody's business.

I've never used 845 with a PC or buffing machine, just hand wax on and wax off. it's strong stuff though.

I don't use Collinite's waxes for shine or looks. I mainly use it for the strength it provides for a Daily Driven car thats parked under the hot FL sun and under trees.

can you top 845 on anything like CMW or OS?

You can top anything, with Optiseal. However 845 lasts about 3 months and OS lasts about 3 months.

You can top 845 with a nuba based product if you want. It gives quite a bright shine.

Im not sure but I just used 845 this weekend and loved the gloss that it gave vs s100 which is pretty muc hthe same as p21s.

you do understand this thread is about POLYCHARGED 845

just so everyone is on the same page it sound like the comments are mostly about just845

Not the best on metallic paint though as it will mute/blend in the flakes.

I've never seen it mute flakes (on its own), I keep wondering why this myth is still perpetuated.

To answer the OP's question: Yes, Polycharger plays pretty well with 845, and it makes it easier to use. Well, it did for me anyway.

Have you ever used this product? That is not my experience.

Yes I have, it did reduce the visibility of the flakes, as opposed to P21s100% or any sealant which make them pop.

It is not so much that they get muted or are covered completely, but rather because the wax can darken the paint, including the flakes, these end up blending in more with the paint so they pop less as shown by your pic. At least on my car, this has been the case. On the other hand, P21s100% has made them pop more. Here is a pic of the flakes on my car with Ultima PGP.

I THINK WE HIJACKED THE THREAD. SORRY GUY.

I'd also like to know the answer to the original question. Just got some 845 and have Polycharger.

As a side point - if anyone is interested in buying either Polycharger flavour, Danase is clearing them for $25 here: Polycharger CH2 Wax Booster

Does the 845 take the CH2?

"I THINK WE HIJACKED THE THREAD. SORRY GUY."

No prob, I might have even done this a few times myself!

detaildoc,

If there is any muting, its b/c of the product that's being used b/f 845. Going straight onto just washed/clayed paint of my metallic green SUV, it didn't mute the flakes at all. As always, everyone's mileage will vary....

Guy,

Use the CH2.
