Coffee? Ice cream? Onion? PICS

EBPcivicsi

GOT PREP?
I just don't understand...... This is/was a very nice truck, but the owner has just abused it.

The interior had everything you can imagine in it.

Spills, misc gunk

Ice cream did you say? This was underneath the rear seats and had been there for "over a month" The smell was really bad!

After, I spot cleaned with costco's APC, then extracted with the LGCM(Non-heated).

The rest of the interior after. Sorry about the lighting, it started to rain so I had to pull it in the garage to finish. NO LIGHTS!

The exterior had sap and a TON of tar everywhere. The wheels on the passenger were coated with tar. The sides were pretty bad too.

I washed, clayed, then used a bug & tar remover on the entire car(clay wouldn't touch it). I used meguiars colorX only on the exterior, price was a factor.

before, it's white as you can see and I didn't get a close up of the tar, but it was EVERYWHERE!

After, again sorry about the lighting. I like the colorX, I would have preferred to use the #66 today, but I left it at home. I feel that the #66 is a bit more aggressive and this paint could have used it.

This reminds me of an explorer I just did at work, I found everything from french fries to soda under the seats..It came clean after a lot of work, but it sure was worth it when I was done.

That's one of those that makes you say, "Why did I ever get into this business?"

The after shots make you say. "Now I know why I got into this business."

Good job.
Anyone can detail a clean well kept vehicle. (I do it all the time)
Not everyone can take something like that and turn it into a fine looking unit again.

EBP,

Awesome work EBP! That interior transformation is especially great work. Hope you charged an "hourly" rate for that one!

Difficult to tell much on white paint, but the ColorX seemed to have worked nicely.

EBP,

Wow. Super job! That interior now, no one would ever know it was so bad. The client must have been delighted. Really nice. What a transformation!

Thanks a lot guys! I am thinking that from now on not only will I turn down all minivans, but SUV's as well. :-p

CharlesW, thanks a lot, I really appreciate the compliments.

groebuck, the ice cream was horrible. It was actually a large vanilla milk shake that had spilled and never been cleaned. :dunno Thanks!

Zesty-man, thanks!

Boss, thanks, definitely charged an hourly rate ;) The colorX is as easy to use as the #66, but a little weaker. For this truck, it got the job done.

Keeotee, thank you very much. The client was definitely pleased, I am going back next weekend to do her son's tahoe. I am looking foward to being back next weekend, she is definitely "easy on the eyes." :naughty

:yeah

What a mess! Great job EBP :bigups

Hey now.... No fair replacing the carpets and then telling us that you cleaned them. That's cheating. :naughty

Excellent work, dude. You rocked the mullet on that one. I hope they paid you in gold or something because they got a lot for their money on that job.

Great Work mah friend......I haven't did a mini van in over a year. I refuse, seems that mini owners are always cheap skates too.

I swear that minivan/suv owners are the biggest slobs I've ever seen. I've got to get ahold of a camera to show some of the farm trucks that come into work.

NICE

Great Job!!!!!!!!
I hate getting around all those brackets underneith the seats with an extractor. What a Pain!!!!!
Excellent job I look forward to more pics in the future.

Great work EPB what kind of wheel cleaner did you use to get the nice interior lip of the wheel clean.? Also what kind of extractor did you use again. ?

Hi Frozen,

I used an acid based wheel cleaner cut 50/50 with water and an EZ detail brush along with another small spoke brush to clean behind the wheels. I sprayed, cleaned, rinsed, repeated, no dwell time at all.

The extractor was a little green clean machine. I really wouldn't call it an extractor, but it works for me. As you know, I am use to doing things by hand so it was a step up for me.

I see you got nice results with it. What Acid base wheel cleaner did you use I been meaning to pick one up what safty measures you use with it. ?
